The Artwheels approach

We believe great art instruction doesn't have to feel serious or intimidating.

Artwheels combines professional art education with an atmosphere that is calm, playful, open, and present.

Our workshops are designed to encourage curiosity over perfection and process over performance.

Our approach is also informed by consultation with an art therapist, adding a therapeutic lens as we consider how creative experiences can foster reflection, connection, and meaningful shared experiences.

Testimonials

“Jenn was an absolute delight to work with from start to finish! She led a 2-hour watercolor workshop for our team of 17 during our offsite in Boulder, and it was hands down one of the highlights of the week. Jenn took care of every detail—bringing aprons, high-quality supplies, travel kits our team could keep, and fantastic instruction that made painting the Flatirons approachable and relaxing for everyone regardless of artistic experience. If you’re planning a corporate team event or offsite activity, I cannot recommend Jenn and Artwheels enough!”

Maria Luisa P., Harvard University
“I have very limited artistic skill and am pretty self-conscious about it. Jennifer was encouraging, inspiring, and taught me at my own speed and level. It was inspiring to get past the "I'm no good at this" stage and really feel like I was making good progress. Her gentle, generous teaching has inspired me to keep learning!”
